GLENDALE, Ariz. - Ohio State threw everything they had at Texas. Texas quarterback Colt McCoy threw more.

Two quarterbacks, three running backs and four wide receivers were not enough for the 10th-ranked Buckeyes to prevail over No. 3 Texas, as the Longhorns prevailed 24-21 in the final moments of last night's Fiesta Bowl

A blind marching band is scheduled to participate in the New Year's Day 2010 Tournament of Roses Parade.

Parade history will be made when a band from the Ohio State School for the Blind marches among the flower-covered floats in Pasadena, Calif., said Carol Agler, music director at the school

As the conflict in Gaza escalates, it seems that the only group without blood on its hands is the one that has paid the greatest cost: the civilians of Gaza. Israel has again chosen to collectively punish Palestinians for the actions of Hamas with a response completely disproportionate to the rocket attacks on their country

The Buckeyes certainly hope that the Tostitos Race to the Bowl is no indication of the actual game. The competition pits two teams of diehard fans from Texas and Ohio State against each other, and consists of a variety of challenges that will land the winning team a $100,000 scholarship. After four events in three different cities, Texas leads Ohio State 2-1-1.
