LSO ends first health and wellness week

Plates cradling pictures of delicious food dot the Cru Club, inciting curious intakes of breath from spectators. While a favorite appetizer from Applebee's is a staple of college students' diets, its 1,800 calories may stop students in their tracks. This was the goal of the Life Sciences Organization headed by President Amber Slezak.

Scholarships, students' stories vary

"To go where you want to go, you have to make sacrifices," Lauren Kemp, freshman, said. "I prefer not to take out loans. I did well in high school. I had a really high grade point average, but I understand that there are a lot of students competing for the same opportunities.

Late nights? Not here!: Campus Center hours restricted

If you are a commuter, chances are you have spent more than a few hours in the Harry C. Moores Campus Center studying or relaxing in between classes. You may have even set up camp in the Schneider Lounge until two in the morning to finish a paper. It is also likely that you noticed the latter is no longer an option.
